Brookgreen Gardens

Brookgreen Gardens is located south of Palace Resort in Murrells Inlet. A large outdoor sculpture garden that has local and national historical significance, as well as hanging oak trees, a zoo and dining makes for a unique and meaningful nearby attraction. Open all year, Brookgreen Gardens is a National Historic Landmark and features various exhibits, trails, sculptures through the gardens. Spend the afternoon photographing the landscape, taking a cruise on the creek, or admiring one of the many sculpture exhibits like “Fountain of the Muses,” “Saint James Triad” or the “Time and the Fates of Man.” Visitors also enjoy delicious food at the Old Kitchen, Pavilion Restaurant or The Courtyard Café and can pick up a souvenir or piece of art at the Keepsakes Gift Shop during their day at the gardens.
