2nd Avenue Pier

Located just a short drive north of the Palace Resort, 2nd Avenue Pier is a popular place for fishing, dining and relaxing. Sitting at the south-end of the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and stretching out 906 feet into the ocean. The pier also offers daily fishing passes as well as rod rentals for those who don’t want to drag their rod along on vacation. They also sell a variety of bait like shrimp and squid at their tackle shop and no fishing license is needed to fish off this Myrtle Beach pier. The pier is also the site of Wicked Tuna where patrons can enjoy the ocean views while sipping on a cocktail or enjoying a meal. For those just looking to stroll along the pier, a walking pass can be purchased for a small fee.
